UW, quest question (undefeatable aatxes)
Hi Guys.
Yesterday europe got the favor, so we went down to the UW. We did a few quests but one of them was very very very tough.
It was the second or third quest.
I'm sorry, I don't know the english names, so I will try to explain:
In this quest you have to defeat some undefeatable aatxes by killing a "soulkeeper".
If you kill this soulkeeper, the aatxes will die. So far, so easy.
We killed the first soulkeeper and thought: either we can kill the aatxes now or they will die on their own. But nothing happened. They killed half of our team. But they died after they had no target to run after (because the target (we) was dead).
Is this really intended? Is this a bug or are we not supposed to aggro these aatxes?
Some soulkeeper are far enough away from their aatxes to kill them easily, but 2 or 3 are too close. We always aggroed all the aatxes whil attacking the soulkeeper. Our solution was: one guy ran away far enough to not aggro the aatxes and stay there and the others tried to get rid off the aatxes after the soulkeeper was dead. But most of the time this failed due to the limited space we had (remember, there are also many other enemies down there...).
How do you guys do this quest? Of course, after finishing the quest, we all got rid off our DP, but there ought to be a better solution than to die...
thanks

first of all i'd clear every red dot on the map, bevor taking any quest, but thats just me.
and the second thing, i always wanted to know:
isnt that invincible thing on the aataxes a spell that can be broken, without going directly fot the soulkeeper?

Good idea, but don't enemies spawn after accepting a quest? Or do only the quest-enemies spawn?

We hadn't had a mesmer with us, but I would be very surprised if that would be possible. Because the quest would be so easy if you could kill them. There are only groups of 3 aatxes...

See, the trick is to do Restore the Monuments of Grenth first.
Your really only need to restore the one in Forgotten Vale, and clear that area out.
Then take the "Keeper of Souls" quest.
Now, let your most useless player stay behind.
The rest charge in, directly to one of the Keeper of Souls.
Once he is dead, the team shouts "TELE" and the one left behind talks to the statue and then teleports to the forgotten vale statue, taking every teammate with him!
Enjoy.
Credit for this goes to Finwe of Valinor.

Just want to add:
Yesterday we went down again (surprisingly I see europe holding the hall more often -> good job guys, who ever you are!) and we did activate some of the monuments and were able to get the soulkeepers from behind, by passing the undefeatable aatxes.
So it really works: just active the monuments and you can by pass all aatxes and go straight for the soulkeepers, allthough this will take quite some time...
